Vermont Dance Alliance Seeks Executive Director
About Vermont Dance Alliance:
Vermont Dance Alliance (VDA) believes that dance is a transformational art form. By providing a network of resources for dance artists, and educational opportunities for movers and audiences, we expand the visibility and accessibility of dance in Vermont and bolster the creative economy of the state.
VDA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supported by its robust membership program which is composed of working artists and dance patrons. VDA maintains an active website as the hub of the membership network, where artists can gain visibility and the public can find classes and events. We coordinate several performance events throughout the year, partner with other organizations and artists to host workshops, and act as the fiscal sponsor to a selection of Vermont dance artists.
This position is starting at 10 hours/week. However, VDA is a growing grassroots organization and it is a goal to grow the position through fundraising. A successful Director will work to sustain and grow the position in the long term.
