Contact Us

The Vermont Arts Council strives to ensure that its  and activities are equally accessible to all in an inclusive environment. We welcome constituents and visitors to contact us regarding any specific accommodations they may need to facilitate participation in our programs, services, and events. We will make every effort to honor requests.

Questions about accessibility should be addressed to Michele Bailey, 504/ADA Coordinator.

The main entrance to the office is wheelchair accessible and located on the east side of the building. The entrance walkway is gently sloped from State Street through the sculpture garden with a combination of cement walkway and gravel path. A slate patio with drainage grate is directly in front of the main entrance.

The first floor reception area, conference room, and unisex bathroom are all wheelchair accessible.

Arriving by Car

Two accessible parking spaces are available on the west side of the building in the parking lot marked “Reserved State Parking Only.” Visitors arriving by car are welcome to use these spaces. Visitors being dropped off can access the building entrance from the parking lot and are encouraged to call ahead if assistance is needed.

Main Entrance Door

If you need assistance in opening the door, please knock. Our receptionist, who sits in view of the front door, will assist you. If the receptionist is not in view, call the office at 802.828.3291.

We always encourage visitors to contact us prior to arriving to ensure the staff member you wish to speak with is available.
