Carve a piece of basswood into a sculptural, yet still functional, walking stick by shaping a soft, comfortable handle or an elegant, tapered tip – you might even give your walking stick a face. Learn to use a range of carving tools safely to reveal all kinds of forms. New and experienced woodworkers are welcome.
