Project description
This project will be a series of 4 very large oil paintings on canvas, supported by several smaller watercolors on paper. The work is an exploration on the idea of Oneness; the interconnected relation of all things. I look to archetypes in nature; the moon, the trees, the night sky, etc… the primordial elements of our planet and beyond that have been observed, written about, and been in relation with humans since the beginning of consciousness. I combine the landscape with spirit figures to convey the link between realms, and also the connection between ourselves in the present and our ancestors of the past, transcending time and space.
My hope is to display this work locally in a gallery, as well as submit the work for consideration in several art publications.
