A community narrative of life in a pandemic:
All are invited to participate in creating a tapestry of how we are coping, experiencing, creating, staying sane, and adapting to life in a pandemic. Artists, crafters, sewers, quilters, teachers, caregivers, one and all, are encouraged to explore their emotional connection to their experience and bring it forth in a burst of creativity to share with others. Use and re-use anything you have around you- fabric scraps, buttons, paint, embroidery, collage, knitting, weaving, photo transfer, writing, whatever inspires you to tell your story. Let’s connect through sharing what has brought us joy.
10 inch squares should be finished with 1 inch border, 12 inches total. Pieces to be made with fabric or strong paper/canvas that can be assembled later. 3 pieces max per person. Drop-off or mail your piece to River Arts to be stitched together into a physical tapestry to be hung at River Arts and around Morrisville downtown.
