Glen Coburn Hutcheson, Art Exhibition, Artist Talk, 6:30pm

Glen Coburn Hutcheson, Art Exhibition, Artist Talk, 6:30pm
Description:

Glen Coburn Hutcheson presents LEFT at Local 64.

“I aim for straight but often hit squiggly” is no trick of a left hand at play with paint and pencil. In fact memory and experience on his surfaces collude in extended strokes of color like a sonic algorithm that link sky to earth, trees to form, movement to resolve.
"I don't believe in a break between de Kooning, Morisot, and Rembrandt. Ideas and traditions continue like the branches of a tree growing alongside each other. So Cubism isn't over, nor is Dutch Realism."

Time: 12/7/18 4:00pm - 1/31/19 3:00pm
Location: Local 64, 43 State St, #2, Montpelier
