Creative Dance Camp

Creative Dance Camp

Movement artist and educator Madeline Warriner directs Pentangle inaugural summer Creative Dance Camp. In this two-week camp dancers will be fully immersed in a fun and challenging creative dance experience. Campers will take daily classes in Contemporary Modern Technique and Choreography, as well as other styles like Jazz and Hip-hop. In this inclusive and supportive environment, we will put together a culminating performance, challenging campers to create, collaborate, and explore new ways of thinking, articulating, and moving. Campers with any level of experience are encouraged to participate- the only requirement being to come with an open heart and mind, ready to learn and HAVE FUN!

Watch these young artists strut their stuff in a final performance on Saturday, July 15th at 1:00 pm.

Vermont Arts Exchange's Old-School Woodworking Camp

Vermont Arts Exchange's Old-School Woodworking Camp

Ages 8+, $225
Instructed by Gabi Rynes
Building off of last summer’s Old-School Woodworking Camp, this camp brings new ideas to this very popular wood maker camp. Real tools and techniques, fresh projects, lake time and a few splinters are guaranteed while campers experiment, design, build and collaborate on basic woodworking endeavors. After getting the ok from camp staff, experienced woodworkers can tackle more complicated projects while those new to woodworking will learn the basics. A respect of sharp tools and ability to follow rules of safety are a must.

7/9/18 10:00am - 7/14/18 4:00pm
