Description:

A Stowe Parks and Rec partner camp
8:30am - 12:00pm | Ages 5-12

$190/ $200 for single week
$230/ $250 for both weeks

Stretch your creative muscles with Action Painting, Mural Design, Found Object, and Mixed-Media collage. This week long, half day camp presents a rich opportunity to explore painting, sculpture, and more with traditional and on-traditional materials. Students will create exciting 2D and 3D art pieces. Combine this with another half day camp at Stowe Parks and Rec for a full day of fun and activity!

Storytelling Workshop for Teens
Description:

THE ART OF STORYTELLING FOR TEENS

Creating Oral and Written Stories from Life
Instructor: Michelle Bos-Lun
June 17-21 (1 week session) 9 am - 12 pm
$135 (scholarship assistance available)

Almost any life experience can become a story.

This workshop will provide a space for students to generate oral and written stories about time and people in their lives that were significant, funny, interesting, beautiful and/or challenging.

Storytelling techniques and strategies will be presented to enable students to create and share stories in a variety of ways. Written pieces will be collected into a booklet at the end of the week.

The workshop will end with a final presentation and students will have the opportunity to perform their stories at...

"The Great Tent Event"
at Main Street Arts' Great River Theater Festival
on Saturday, July 13th.

Students who register for the workshop and wish to present their stories at the Great River Theater Festival will also be able to attend a free "True Stories" workshop prior to the festival.

Come move with us! A variety of dance and movement classes are offered each weekday morning in the Pillow's Ruth St. Denis Studio. Classes are open to participants of all experience levels including beginners, ages 16+
