Woodshop Essentials: The Table Saw 101

The table saw is a versatile and powerful tool, used for ripping, cross-cutting, making angled cuts in wood, cutting joinery elements, and more. This is the first part in a 3-part series learning how to safely and confidently use this essential woodshop machine.

Topics covered in this introductory session are:

Machine anatomy and typical set-ups for basic use
Basic operations including ripping, cross-cutting and making angled cuts
Developing safe habits and “muscle memory” while using the table saw
Table saw options on the market and their pros and cons
Lots of hands-on practice

Wednesday, April 17 | 6pm – 9pm

Cost: $68 members; $80 non-members
Addtl. Materials Fee: All are materials included.
What to Bring: Bring any questions you have about using the table saw in your own projects.
