Visiting Artist – Sarah Walker

Visiting Artist, Sarah Walker will give an artist talk at Vermont Studio Center in the Red Mill Building on September 22, 2023, at 8:00 pm ET. This event is free and open to the public.

Walker’s paintings operate as visual filters where information is filtered in not out. Interwoven layers evoke a restless associative state mirroring an increasingly complex world of real and virtual spaces. In her work Walker proposes visual tools for experiencing multiple intersecting dimensions.

Sarah’s work has been exhibited abroad at Galerie Jolie (Netherlands), Gropea Kunstraum (Germany), Lademoen Kunstnerverksteder (Norway), and in the US at: Pierogi, Gregory Lind Gallery, DC Moore, McKenzie Fine Art, The Rose Museum, The Frist Art Museum, Weatherspoon Art Museum, The Crocker Museum and the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Collections include: The Nasher Museum, Neuberger Museum, The deCordova Museum, Milwaukee Art Museum, and National Academy of Art and Design.
