Vermont Ballet Theater’s Production of The Nutcracker
Vermont Ballet Theater is pleased and honored to present their luxurious full length production of The Nutcracker ballet exclusively at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington. For families in and around Vermont, it has quickly become a Christmas tradition not to be missed!
All ages will be enthralled with VBT’s Nutcracker, from the spectacular start to the resounding conclusion, with VBT company director Alexander Nagiba’s stellar choreography set to Tchaikovsky’s beloved score and performed by extraordinary dancers from VBTS and the local community.
Follow the delightful adventures of Clara and the Nutcracker Prince as they conquer the evil Mouse King and travel on a mystical journey to The Land of Sweets where the enchanting Sugarplum Fairy reigns. Mice filching Christmas gifts, snowflakes swirling in dreamy white tutus, dolls spinning like tops, a fantasy world of dancers—from a Christmas tree that grows bigger than ever, towering over Clara and the mysterious Herr Drosselmeyer, to the captivating ballerinas, VBT’s Nutcracker will thrill one and all.
