Vermont Crafts Council Open Studio Weekend at Readsboro Glassworks

May 26 at 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Mary Angus and Bill LeQuier of Readsboro Glassworks will be welcoming visitors to their studio during the Vermont Crafts Council’s 32nd annual Spring Open Studio Weekend. The Glassworks will be open on Saturday and Sunday, May 25 & 26, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Angus and LeQuier have been creating handblown glass and glass sculpture in their Readsboro studio since 1983. Their glass is exhibited in many galleries and juried shows nationwide and is included in numerous museum and private collections. On display and for sale during Open Studio Weekend will be carved glass sculpture by LeQuier and Angus’s handblown perfume bottles and bud vases, as well as the unique glass ornaments that the couple create together. The public is invited to stop in to see their handblown glass and glass sculpture and watch one of the glassblowing demonstrations ongoing throughout the weekend.

The Vermont Crafts Council publishes an Open Studio Tour Guide with directions to participating studios. The Guide is available free on the Vermont Crafts Council website,

Readsboro Glassworks, #54 on the tour map, is located at 6954 Main Street, RT 100, (lower level) in Readsboro, Vermont.
