The Black Feathers

June 28 at 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The Black Feathers return to the Plainfield Opera House on Friday, June 28th at 7:30 PM! This special Friday evening Plainfield Arts concert promises an unforgettable performance from the talented singer-songwriters Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler.

Hailing from Ireland and England but currently residing in Wales, The Black Feathers have captured hearts on both sides of the Atlantic with their passionate blend of Americana, Folk, and Acoustic Indie Rock. Their musical journey, intertwined with their life journey as a married couple, began in 2012 and has since blossomed into an international phenomenon.

Ray Hughes’ masterful guitar work sets the stage for the duo’s rich harmonies, creating a musical experience that transcends genres and resonates deeply with audiences. Their transatlantic adventures have seen them enchant crowds across the United States and western Canada, leaving an indelible mark with their compelling stage presence and genuine chemistry.

“We are thrilled to welcome back The Black Feathers to the Plainfield Opera House,” says Plainfield Arts. “Their music is a beautiful blend of storytelling and melody that truly resonates with our audience. This promises to be a magical evening at the Opera House.”

Doors to the concert will open at 7:00 PM, with music starting at 7:30 PM. Tickets are via a suggested donation of $20, though sliding scale options are always available. Plainfield Arts highly encourage online reservations to ensure your seat!
