Stories of Life and Work in Winooski – A Listening Party

April 17 at 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Heritage Winooski Mill Museum, in partnership with Vermont Folklife invites you to hear stories of everyday life and work in Winooski through the voices of its own residents, past and present.

The program features oral histories from the Vermont Folklife Archive and UVM Silver Special Collections that reflect the lives and livelihoods of people living in this square-mile mill town.

A Vermont Folklife “listening party” brings people together to share the experience of listening deeply. A bit like a DJ set of the spoken word, we share stories, music, and sounds of the world around us drawn from archival recordings, followed by a group discussion of what we’ve heard. Light refreshments will be provided.

Join us for this FREE event! Limited seating. Please register to reserve your spot!

This event is made possible with support from VHV, celebrating 75 years of business in Burlington and Winooski.
