SolarFest’23 is a weekend of fun with live music in Brandon, VT, including workshops, local food, exhibits, and headline performances by Dar Williams and two-time Grammy nominee Etana & The Raw Soul Rebels on the main stage.

Over 20 diverse performers will grace the solar-powered stages, with musical styles including Americana, Afro-Caribbean, folk, Celtic, Latin funk, and saltwater country music, along with the Falcon Ridge Festival “Most Wanted” preview tour, and the return of the SolarFest Singer-Songwriter Showcase.

The festival features dozens of exciting workshops on renewable energy, green buildings, sustainable, healthy living, art, activism, climate policy, and practical, hands-on info you can use. These include Intro to Solar & Storage, Getting to Net Zero, Farm Your Own Mushrooms, Women in Renewable Energy, Making Bread + Puppet Art, Small Wind Mythbusting, Master Composting Clinic, Non-Battery Storage Options, Legislative Roundtable on Climate, A Year Without Garbage, and more. Plus, there’s a Giant Bedsheet Art Exhibition by Bread + Puppet Founder Peter Schumann.
