Printmaking Demo and Talk with Dan Welden

Have fun and learn with the best! All are welcome… Dan Welden, master printmaker, painter, educator, and inventor of the solarplate etching process, has been making and teaching printmaking for more than 60 years and often collaborates with artists to explore their own personal imagery and narrative through printmaking. In conjunction with his current exhibition Dan Welden Solo 100, (up through Jan. 14, 2024), he will bring a press and solarplate to print in the gallery, and talk both about his work and the masterworks he has printed with his artist friends.
