Play Every Town: Ferrisburgh

In May 2022 composer-pianist David Feurzeig embarked on Play Every Town: 252 free concerts in each of Vermont’s 252 towns to confront climate change through the power of community and music. With this project David will become the first musician to perform in every Vermont municipality. Each concert is locally tailored. Soprano and Ferrisburgh resident Helen Lyons will sing Broadway selections by Lucy Simon and Rodgers & Hart. Local pianist and composer David Oliveira, a former student of Feurzeig at UVM, will perform two of his own nocturnes. Other pieces are keyed to key dates in Ferrisburgh history.
