Juniper Creative Arts presents “Wall Power: Creating a Sense of Belonging Through Mural”

Juniper Creative Arts will give an artist talk, “Wall Power: Creating a Sense of Belonging Through Mural ”, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 6:00 in 301 Williams Hall, at the University of Vermont.

Juniper Creative Arts has created 25 murals in Vermont since 2019. Their mural initiatives and community engagement has helped vulnerable and fractured communities come together to creatively solve issues that affect their everyday lives.

The public talk will focus on their experiences of creating public art in Vermont, their aesthetic, the intersections of symbolism, nature, and art, and the impact and challenges of their work.

This event is supported by the Mollie Ruprecht Fund for Visual Arts, and the Art & Art History Program in the School of the Arts at UVM.
