Catamount Bluegrass Night returns to its new location at 7pm on Saturday, May 18, welcoming special guests the Rock Hearts. The popular monthly series, formerly at Catamount ArtPort, will be held at United Community Church, on Main Street, in St. Johnsbury. Hosted by acclaimed father/daughter duo Bob and Sarah Amos, Catamount Bluegrass Night welcome New England’s best bluegrass and acoustic acts for family-friendly fun.

Formed in 2013, the Rock Hearts bring together five seasoned musicians from Southern New England who love to sing and pick bluegrass, old country tunes, and “bluegrass-ify’ tunes from other genres. An official 2021 International Bluegrass Music Association Showcase band, the Rock Harts are booking major festivals and enjoying national radio and chart appearances.

After their first independent project “Starry Southern Nights” put them on the national radar, the Rock Hearts signed with Sammy Passamano of 615 Hideaway Records, in Nashville, and released their acclaimed project, “Wanderlust.” A third album, their second with 615 Hideaway, is scheduled for release soon.

The Rock Hearts are Joe Deetz on banjo, Alex McCloud on guitar, Billy Thobideau on mandolin, Austin Scelzo on fiddle, and Rick Brodsky on bass.

Catamount Bluegrass Night hosts Bob & Sarah Amos recently had a #1 song, “The Hills That I Call Home”, on the Folk Alliance International radio airplay chart. Admission to see Bob and Sarah Amos with special guests the Rock Hearts, at United Community Church, on Main Street, in St. Johnsbury, Saturday, May 18th, at 7pm, is by donation.
