Project Design Lab 2023
PROJECT DESIGN LAB
K-12 Educator Professional Development
July 10-14 / University of Vermont, Burlington
At the Project Design Lab an educator team from your school will collaborate with a teaching artist to design a project that uses creative engagement – making things we care about – to strengthen students engagement with your curriculum or school initiative and their well-being.
Participation in the Project Design Lab includes a seven-day teaching artist residency in your school next year to help implement your project.
Educators earn three graduate credits or 40 hours re-certification credits. Tuition includes a private air-conditioned dorm room with a centrally located individual bath at the University of Vermont, plus breakfast and lunch. Everyone is on their own for dinner in Burlington.
TEAM REQUIREMENTS
School teams must include at least three educators (K-12 classroom teachers, councilors, paras, special educators, staff, administrators). Teams can be from the same grades and content areas, or mixed. Teams may include educators from different schools in the district.
