The Annual Garden Party is Here
and you’re invited!
Gather in the Council’s Sculpture Garden from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to celebrate the arts in education. Honor all the teachers, artists, administrators, parents, and community members who work to ensure the arts are central to the education of every Vermont child.
Enjoy the music of Cajun Double Fiddles, then step inside to view paintings by Gabe Tempesta in the Spotlight Gallery. Refreshments, including the ever-popular cake bar, will be served.
Also on June 6th
This party is held the same day as the Arts Council’s annual meeting which is in the Cedar Creek Room at the Vermont State House from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. New trustees will be elected. All Arts Council members have been sent a ballot in the mail; voting can also be completed in person prior to the 3:30 convening.
The Arts Council’s board of trustees will also be meeting from 12 to 3 p.m. in room 10 at the State House. The board meets four times a year to ensure the health of the organization by providing expertise and insight into policy development, financial vitality, and programmatic integrity. All board meetings are open to the public.
If you’d like to attend the annual meeting, the board meeting, or both, let us know. Only Vermont Arts Council members may vote on trustees.
