Desmond works with the communications team, coordinating outreach efforts in order to enhance the Council’s visibility and to encourage participation in the arts throughout Vermont. They are responsible for managing the Council’s website, newsletters, social media, blog, and podcast, as well as the Spotlight Gallery and Sculpture Garden.
Desmond brings a passion for storytelling and publishing to the Council, with degrees in writing from Goddard College and Vermont College of Fine Arts, and with a long professional background in Vermont’s small press scene.
When not communicating and curating for the Council, Desmond likes to write and sing, grow berries and nuts, and keep fit.
