Sean Clute
Sean Clute is a intermedia artist who experiments with video, sound, and performance. He is co-director of the Rural Noise Ensemble and Associate Professor of Media Art at Northern Vermont University-Johnson. Sean lives in Jericho where he occasionally attempts to cross-country ski with his wife and two daughters.
Sean’s work has been presented internationally at venues such as The Kitchen, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, ISEA2014–Dubai, Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and the Autonomous Mutant Festival. He has been a recipient of a Fulbright Award, Meet the Composer Grant and has been an artist-in-residence at Djerassi and the Museumsquarier in Vienna. Sean holds an MFA in electronic music from Mills College.
