5th Annual Burlington Fringe Theater Festival
Description:

A showcase for Vermont theater artists, featuring 24 performers in a wide variety of genresgenres, ensemble, solo, vaudeville, comedy, musical, performance art, drama and dance. Short 20 minute sets: Thursday is Blue Night - adult content, Sunday is family friendly matinee. Performers include Tickets $15.00, students $8, Kids under 6 free, tix available at the door first come first served, reservations recommended at Brown Paper Tickets. Off Center is at 294 N. Winooski Ave. in Burlington. NOTE THE SUNDAY, 10/15 (Family Friendly) shows are at 4PM, running until 6:30PM.

"Birding by the Numbers" Community Art Show
Description:

What would ornithology be without math? How do artists integrate a sense of number with the wonder of birds?

Inspired by these questions (and more), we sought works that might express the art of math, bridging the real and imaginary, with birds silly and significant. We call it Birding by the Numbers and invite you to visit.

Included with Museum Admission (free for members)

Of Land and Local Vermont Arts 2017
Description:

Of Land and Local celebrates its fifth year at the BCA Center & Shelburne Farms. 16 new and returning artists further explore last year’s watershed focus bringing a fresh perspective to this important topic.

The exhibit explores how issues relating to the watershed fit within a domestic and global context. Themes investigate ideas of place, conservation, commodification, and water’s cultural role within our community.
