The January selection will be the luminous documentary “California Typewriter,” directed by Doug Nichol, screening Sunday, January 7, at 2pm. Following thereafter – “I Am Evidence," a documentary directed by Trish Adlesic, on February 18 at 2pm, “Novitiate,” a narrative drama directed by Margaret Betts, on March 11 at 2pm, “Lady Bird,” a narrative drama directed by Greta Gerwig, on April 7 at 7pm and “The Judge,” a documentary directed by Erika Cohn, on May 11 at 7pm.

Green Mountain Youth Symphony Spring Concert

Green Mountain Youth Symphony Spring Concert Vermont Arts 2018
Description:

The GMYS Spring Concert will showcase all three orchestras. The Repertory, Concert, and Senior Orchestras will each perform their own musical offerings. The Repertory Orchestra is under the baton of Paul Perley. The Concert and Senior Orchestras are led by GMYS Artistic Director, Bob Blais.

The program includes lots of crowd pleasers with music from West Side Story, Hamilton, Indiana Jones, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Also featured will be our Senior Soloist -- Spaulding High School student, Jeffrey Steinman playing the Haydn Trumpet Concerto. Join us for a wonderful afternoon of rousing performances.

Tickets are available by donation at the door. Adults $15, Seniors $12, Students (K-12) $5, Children under 5 are free.

GMYS is proud to present this concert as part of Vermont Arts 2018, a project of the Vermont Arts Council.
