Sarah Mutrux

Sarah works with the programs team to strengthen and support the arts in Vermont–reaching out to individual artists, statewide partners, and arts and community organizations. She is responsible for providing resources, networking and professional development opportunities, and for managing grants programs for both artists and arts organizations.

Sarah previously worked as the executive director of The Art House in Craftsbury, connecting artists and art lovers in the Northeast Kingdom through classes, community events, performances, and exhibits. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marlboro College in visual arts and creative writing and a certificate in nonprofit management from Marlboro College Graduate School. She earned her master's degree in managing mission-driven organizations from Marlboro College Graduate School in 2016. 

Sarah's favorite art form is illustrated books for children. She has written and illustrated three books which she reproduces in short runs, hand-binds with decorative papers, and gives as gifts.
