The Vermont Arts Council will be hosting free informational workshops for anyone interested in learning about Vermont Arts Council grants and services. The workshops will include information about applying for FY2015 Arts Council funding through the upcoming Creation, Project, and Arts Partnership Grants. Anyone interested in applying for these grants is urged to attend a workshop, which will be held:
- Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Catamount Arts, 115 Eastern Ave., St. Johnsbury
- Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Brattleboro Museum and Arts Center, 10 Vernon St., Brattleboro
- Friday, March 28, 2014 at Burlington City Arts, 135 Church Street, Burlington
10:00-11:30 a.m. Workshop for Organizations
This workshop will focus on grants and services intended to support Vermont-registered nonprofit organizations, 501(c)3s, municipalities, and schools in their efforts to bring the arts to the center of Vermont communities. Particular attention will be paid to our annual Project and Arts Partnership Grants.
12:15-12:45 p.m. THURSDAY and FRIDAY only: Presentation by New England Foundation for the Arts
Join Adrienne Petrillo, Program Manager, Presenting & Touring at the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) to learn about NEFA's grants and programs for New England-based artists and organizations, including CreativeGround, New England's directory for cultural nonprofits, creative businesses, and professional artists.
1:00-2:30 p.m. Workshop for Artists
This workshop will focus on grants and services intended to support Vermont artists. Particular attention will be paid to our annual Creation Grants which support the creation of new work by Vermont artists.
