Arts Calendar Events are entered through an account you create at the VT Business Registry, NOT through this website.
The VT Business Registry is not just for businesses - it's for any entity involved with events in Vermont, including artists, non-profits, schools, etc. It provides the interface for entering events into shared statewide calendars like this one.
FIRST TIME USERS - In order to enter events in the Calendar, you must first open an account at the Vermont Business Registry - do so by following the directions below. Keep this window open to have access to these instructions while you set up your account.
QUESTIONS? Contact Diane Zeigler at 802-828-1456.
Before creating a new account you should first search the system to check if someone else has already created an account for your organization.
If you have lost your account login information, you can attempt to retrieve it using the 'forgot password' link. If you are still unsuccessful, you can contact Diane Zeigler at 802-828-1456 or Kerri Laroe at 802-828-0422.
In the next screen, click on the "Add My Business" button.
DO NOT SELECT THE BOX that says "my business fits into the categories of lodging, dining or attractions and should be included in the VT Travel Planner".
(Ignore any messages about "Bid System Users" or Bid Profiles - these are not relevant to the arts.)
You must include your mailing address and phone number to register your account. Then click "next step"
At the bottom of this screen, click the box if you are the primary contact for this business- if not, deselect this box and enter the appropriate contact name (agent, manager, etc.).
Excellent! Proceed to the next steps only if you have Vermont products to sell either on your website or at your place of business.
Otherwise, your account is now set up an ready for you to log into for entering events. Proceed to the directions on how to enter your events.
LOG IN TO YOUR NEW ACCOUNT:
Click on the button in the top left corner of the screen. Log into your account by clicking on the "sign in" button .
DO THIS ONLY IF YOU HAVE VERMONT PRODUCTS TO SELL
OTHERWISE, SKIP IT!
If you sell Vermont arts products (such as CDs, paintings, crafts, etc.) either on a website or at your own storefront, you can be included in Vermont Travel Planner's “Shopping” database. Here’s how:
Under "Select the category to add information for your listing(s) in the Vermont Travel Planner" choose “Shopping” and click “Add”.
Add Category: Lodging Dining Attractions Recreation Shopping
IF YOU ONLY HAVE A 'VIRTUAL' STORE: In the Addresses section, your address will be automatically listed as the retail store for your products. If you only sell products online, edit this information by creating a new contact, and have the address line say “ONLINE ORDERS ONLY”
If your organization is also a tourist attraction, lodging, or dining facility: after you finish entering your shopping information you can enter yourself in these databases using the same process outlines above.
