Vermont philanthropist and visionary, Lyman Orton, is collaborating with the Vermont Arts Council and the Vermont Council on Rural Development to commission two-dimensional works of art that reflect or respond to issues and challenges facing our state. The Arts Council and the VT Dept. of Buildings and General Services have created a traveling exhibit featuring approximately 50 of the 1,000 pieces of art the State has collected over the past 170 years. A FREE SCREENSAVER OF THE ARTWORK is available for download.
ON EXHIBIT: The Art of Vermont collection has moved to the Goodrich Library in Newport. The show will remain in Newport through August 16.
