Vermont artist David Brewster discusses his work for the Vermont Art in State Buildings Program at the St. Albans Police Barracks in 2007.
In this video, David discusses some of the artists who have influenced his work. He demonstrate some of the stylistic devices used by 'Old Masters' to guide the viewer's experience of the work, and draws parallels with compositional elements in the monochromatic and color studies he prepared before beginning his paintings for this AiSB commission.
